This project was created using a pinhole camera. Conceptually, the beginning of this work was about the roles of women in the home and in relationships. It eventually transformed, however, into a much more personal story. I found myself portraying the ways I felt after ignoring my own needs within a relationship. The pushed aside female character I had in my mind was all of a sudden me, releasing my own weight. The technical needs of using a pinhole camera to allow enough light in allowed me to sit for extended time and create a really freeing body of work.
